This is me at about age 26 with Magic, a friend of mine. I was in Hawaii with him during his executive basketball camp. It was a blast. I will post more images here later so check back!

I had a great lunch at a thai food restaurant on Ventura Blvd. I go there often for their BBQ chicken and chicken salad with Peanut sauce.

Later at around 10pm i got some friends together for "chuckie's" birthday! We went to the liquid kitty. I gave him a goody bag full of yummy treats...

Chuck is a writer and he has a blogspot too: http://chuckhoffman.blogspot.com/ He just finished a novel called "Twilight's Last Gleaming" he is shopping it around trying to get it published! I wish him the best on that, it is hard to get breaks in this world no matter how talented you are! It really is "who you know". Check his page out!

As much as i love going to Revolution Fitness, i needed to find a spin club closer to home.

So my Papi signed me up at the Equinox club. It is a nice place. Not as posh as my favorite club, Sports Club L.A. but it is definately right below it a couple of notches.

Monday was my first spin class there. I went into the bathroom and snapped this photo of myself and someone immediately came in and told me no photo taking....hmmm makes me wonder if the mirrors are two way!! Yea right, like that is going to fly with me.... that is what i do!

So here is the first of many photos that will be taken at club equinox of Moi etc....

The spin class was fine. They don't have the super expensive bikes that Revolution has, but the instructor was great. Unfortunately an old boyfriend showed up and sat right next to me.... Damn Lawyers!

My next class is Wednesday at 7pm then i'm off to the liquid kitty for "girls night"

I work on photos endlessly and often i just pick up my coffee cup without looking into it, not a good idea.
One time i took a drink and found out too late.... yuck!

Power in Fries!

I try to watch what I eat, but when I'm feeling a little blue, McDonalds Fries really help.

I don't know what it is about them. They give me a tremendous feeling of power, like I can take on the world!

They are like a drug. Greasy, salty sweet yumminess.

They are not good for my figure though. I had some yesterday and today. I am now done. Treadmill time. I looked up the recipe. There is a lot of sugar and corn syrup in them. Who knew? I didn't. I don't naturally gravitate towards sweets.

I prefer salty food.

What am I going to do with all this power? I dunno.

Recipe for POWER!
2 medium size fries.

Ingredients:

2 large Idaho russet potatoes
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1 1/2-2 cups hot water
6 cups shortening
1/4 cup beef lard (or save the fat from previously cooked burgers)

I love dance, it sets me free, i could do it everyday of my life and be 100% content.....

Above is a self portrait that was not easy to take.....

I am a dancer... a ballerina. I love classical ballet and have been trained by the best, who have also been trained by the best. My mother was and is a dancer and she used to dance with my main teacher, MaryLou Stangeland. They both trained under Phyllis Moore of Moore's Dancewear.

I also trained with the late Rick Sullivant as a ballet and jazz dancer. I went to extensive dance camps and i have performed in many productions not to mention the old Forum floor when the dream team (Magic Johnson) was happening.

These are some photos from a new class i started about 2 weeks ago. The class is a lot easier then MaryLou's but really, it is what you make it. When others are doing one turn, i will do doubles and when others are dancing flat, i will releve.

I'm working hard to lose weight and strengthen my ankles so i can go on pointe within the next 2 months. I am going to perform in an avant garde style, with theatrical makeup and costume. My pointe shoe of choice is the custom made Gaynor Mindens, they are the best!

I'm back to Spinning! It is the single most exilerating form of exercise i have ever done. It melts the pounds of and it gives me an endorphin rush like no other activity imaginable. So far i have done 4 classed at Revolution Fitness. http://www.revolutionfitness.net/

The Friday night class at 6pm is so fun and the instructor is a sexy guy with and english accent...hot, hot, hot. They play all different types of club music....industrial, a little hip hop, disco etc.

Give it a shot it is so worth it. Being fit equals self love!

I used to be a member of Sports Club LA and that is where i learned perfect cycling form. I have always been very athletic and competitive. I'm a beast on the bike. I did a 500 mile bike ride straight up the Canadian Rockies without even breaking a sweat. Other cyclist were amazed and asked me how i had trained for the ride. I did about 4 spin classes a week for about 4 months and that is all it took. It is much more beneficial then training on a regular bike where you have to stop and watch for traffic and if you have a good instructor, they will motivate you and you just can't stop !

I would love for any of you to meet me at Revolution Fitness and get on the positive high i am on! Since this is my first week back, i am still very sore. It will take about 3 to 4 weeks for me to get stronger and used to training so hard. In addition to spinning, i have also been a ballet dancer since age 5.... well over 3 years. I also love dance and i am good.

I was in the other room when i heard a boom! I made my way into the living room and there he was.... he had bull dozed right through the french doors.....

He came right up the step and headed toward my friend, Adria's, room. Luckily he was on tile so we swirled him around. i had to show him my hot pink finger nails in order to get him to follow me. He thinks they are candy. I got him half way out before he turned around... I can't pick him up he is huge and he will smash my fingers and tuck his legs in really quick...ouch!

I had to Call Adria and we both picked him up, it wasn't easy. This is the first time he has been in the house for quite some time. He was the size of a quarter when i bought him for $100 bucks at a reptile store. At that time i was managing 15 apt buildings in Satna Monica and West LA and i had a large apt he roamed around in. i had to move he got so big. I love him though!

LOL, something i don't do too often! I don't want to get fat, the idea of it scares me to death. But since i am spinning like a maniac and taking extra ballet classes i figured i needed a little carb load.

Spinning is heavy duty and it is what i did when i trained for the 500 mile bike ride i did in canada ! Straight up the rockies without breaking a sweat. Man was i in sub space.
